HAPPILY EVER AFTER: Brady & Sarah

From messaging one another for months, the couple’s romance quickly blossomed and they worked on building a solid foundation over the next couple of years. After purchasing a house together and having a baby girl, Brady popped the question to Sarah last year with a stunning princess-shape diamond solitaire ring made by 77 Diamonds.  In the midst of planning their winter wedding early next year, read on to learn more about Brady and Sarah’s love story.

First meeting: After about 10 months of messaging one another, their paths eventually crossed, but not by chance, Brady had it all planned out. Individually, Sarah and Brady were both meant to be out for friends’ birthday celebrations, but last minute, Sarah’s plans changed. “I had to convince the entire birthday party I was with to change location so I could ‘bump’ into her. After buying Sarah and her friends some cocktails, I finally plucked up the courage to ask her for a dance. After two-and-a-half years, buying our own family home and a delightful one-year old little girl joining my beautiful nine-year-old daughter, we’re now engaged to be married,” Brady exclaims.

She’s the one: Only six weeks after asking Sarah for their first dance, the couple were away in Chester celebrating Sarah’s recent graduation. “Sitting in a small pub over a few drinks and nibbles, I couldn’t help but gaze into her eyes and think I’d found the one; I couldn’t believe it had taken me 10 months to finally meet up,” shares Brady.

The proposal: “To celebrate our daughter’s first birthday and Christening in December, we had booked a lovely venue to enjoy the day with our closest friends and family. I had thought about this for some time and thought this was the perfect opportunity to pop the question.  Friends and family mean everything to us and to have them enjoy this moment with us made it even more special,” Brady explains.

The ring: Brady deliberated over the ring for about six months while in correspondence with the team at 77 Diamonds. “Eventually, I chose a beautiful princess cut solitaire in platinum, to match my very own princess, Sarah,” Brady smiles.

The wedding: The wedding date has been set for 9 February next year, which is also Sarah’s parent’s wedding anniversary. The ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception will take place at Stanley House Hotel Spa, Mellor, Lancashire.

“I used to be in the military so everything about the wedding is meticulously planned. I’m now a manager at a large college, and Sarah is a primary school teacher, so planning is part of everything we do,” says Brady.
